17 House of Representative Members Defect From ADC To NDC

Seventeen members of Nigeria’s House of Representatives have defected from the African Democratic Congress (ADC) to the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), marking a new shift in the political balance within the lower chamber.

The Deputy Speaker, Benjamin Kalu, announced the defections during Tuesday’s plenary session, formally reading out the notices submitted by the affected lawmakers.
