Dangote Refinery Confirms ₦1,200 Petrol Price, Assures Market Stability

Dangote Petroleum Refinery & Petrochemicals has dismissed speculation of a price hike in Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), confirming that its petrol pricing remains unchanged.

A source within the refinery stated that the current pricing structure is still in place, with the gantry price fixed at N1,200 per litre and the coastal price at N1,153 per litre.

“We are maintaining our existing price and have not implemented any new pricing for our customers,” the source said.

The clarification comes amid growing concerns over possible fluctuations in fuel prices, which had sparked anxiety among consumers and stakeholders in Nigeria’s downstream petroleum sector.

The refinery also reiterated its commitment to ensuring a steady supply of petroleum products across Nigeria and other African markets. According to the source, maintaining consistent availability remains a top priority as the company seeks to support stability in the fuel market.

The assurance underscores the refinery’s role in strengthening energy supply and reducing volatility within the region’s petroleum industry.
