Man City Defeats Chelsea To Win FA Cup, Complete Domestic Cup Double

Antoine Semenyo scored the winning goal midway through the second half at Wembley Stadium, finishing with a clever back-heel effort from an Erling Haaland cross after Bernardo Silva helped create the move.

City controlled large parts of the opening half, while Chelsea improved after the break in a tightly contested final that produced limited clear-cut chances.

The victory hands manager Pep Guardiola another major trophy in English football, adding the FA Cup title to Manchester City’s Carabao Cup success earlier in the campaign.

The result also keeps City firmly in contention for the Premier League title as they continue to chase down Arsenal in the closing stages of the season.
