Tinubu Begins Three-Week Annual Vacation In Europe

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is set to leave Abuja for Europe on Sunday to begin a three-week vacation as part of his annual leave.

The development was announced by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, in a statement shared on his official X account.

According to the statement, Tinubu’s first destination will be London, United Kingdom, where he will spend part of his vacation.

The President is expected to return to Nigeria after the working vacation to join preparations for the January 2027 election.

The statement, dated August 30, 2026, said the President’s trip forms part of his annual leave and that he would resume his duties and participate in the election campaign upon his return.
